Under the agreement, EOLOS will combine its FLS200 floating LiDAR technology and digital data services with Enviros’ marine services and geodata expertise.

The partnership will initially target Vietnam as an emerging offshore wind market, with two FLS200 units to be deployed in the country from September.

“Enviros approached EOLOS as its preferred technology partner for offshore wind measurement campaigns. Enviros’ proven track record in the offshore oil and gas sector brings the operational rigor and execution standards expected by both local and international offshore wind developers, many of whom are already key EOLOS clients”, said Julian Harland, Sales Director at EOLOS.

The companies said the partnership responds to demand from Vietnamese project owners for measurement providers with established track records, bankable data and the ability to work with local stakeholders.

EOLOS is also redeploying its floating LiDAR assets following the completion of projects in the US, allowing the company to move equipment into emerging offshore wind markets such as Vietnam, according to the company.
