Davi, a global leader in the production of plate and angle rolls, announces the successful sale of a giant 4-roller MCB plate roll to IDESA, one of the leading international companies in the design and manufacture of large-scale equipment for the petrochemical, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors.
The partnership between Davi and IDESA began at Davi’s 2023 Wind Energy event, where IDESA representatives experienced firsthand the capabilities of Davi’s plate rolling machines and chose our brand.
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the newly acquired machine was successfully completed on August 6, 2024, at Davi’s facility. The machine installation took place in mid-October 2024, and it is now fully integrated into IDESA’s production line.
IDESA’s new equipment, a massive 4-roller MCB plate roll with a width of 4,550 mm and the capacity to handle plates up to 225 mm thick, is designed to meet the increasing demand for larger and more complex projects. This machine will replace an older, lower-capacity plate roll, enabling IDESA to handle projects involving thicker plates, thus enhancing its operational capacity.
Davi is renowned for producing large, highly reliable plate rolls trusted by industry leaders worldwide. With this new addition, IDESA will benefit from advanced technology that allows it to process significantly thicker plates, ensuring greater productivity and precision in its operations.
