Cemre Shipyard has shared the video of the recent launching of DEME’s Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH) vessel Groene Wind in Yalova, Turkey.
Once delivered in 2021, the 60-metre Groene Wind will start a charter with Siemens Gamesa to service the Rentel and the SeaMade wind farms in the Belgian North Sea.
The vessel, said to be the world’s first DP2 twin-hulled SOV, will be home to up to 24 technicians plus crew.
