According to Seaway 7, the vessel will operate under its new name Seaway Phoenix on the first assignment with the company.
It was originally constructed as a dedicated trans-oceanic submarine fiber optic cable lay vessel, Subsea 7’s renewables and heavy lifting business said.
The 130-meters long vessel is scheduled to begin operating in the second quarter of 2021.
