BWTS GmbH has signed the contract for the execution of the statutory inspection, maintenance, and repair of all safety equipment at the Nordsee-Ost wind farm in the German North Sea.
Furthermore, BWTS GmbH will take over the general overhaul of the service lifts.
The 295 MW Nordsee-Ost consists of 48 Senvion 6.2M126 wind turbines located 35 kilometres north of Helgoland.
The wind farm is operated and maintained by innogy from the island of Heligoland.

Nordsee-Ost was fully commissioned in May 2015.
