Kim Heng Shipbuilding & Engineering (KHSE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a subsea cable installer to collaborate on offshore wind projects in Taiwan.

According to KHSE, the MOU focuses on cooperating on submarine cable-laying work in the Taiwanese offshore wind market.

The wholly-owned subsidiary of Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Holdings Ltd said it will now work towards signing a formal contractual agreement.

KHSE did not disclose the name of the other signatory, but has stated that further announcements will be made when there are material updates to the agreement and related matters.
