International Ocean Vessel Technical Consultant (IOVTEC) and Valour Offshore Marine Services (VOMS) have formed a strategic alliance to provide services for the offshore wind market in Taiwan.
The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which they will bring the DP vessel Avatar Courage, owned by Singapore’s VOMS, into Taiwan to support the market.
IOVTEC and VOMS will utilize the recently re-flagged Avatar Courage to provide geotechnical surveys, bubble certain solutions, heavy spare part transportation and crew accommodation services.
The multi-purpose DP1 Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) recently completed work on its first offshore wind project in Taiwan, IOVTEC said.
