Siemens Gamesa has expanded the cooperation with Jupiter Bach for the supply of nacelle covers for its offshore wind turbines.
The expanded cooperation includes Jupiter Bach supplying nacelle canopy covers for Siemens Gamesa’s SWT-7.0-154 turbine, which are delivered from the company’s factory in Poland.
According to the company, the deal will also include spinner covers for the SG 8.0-167 DD turbine later this year, delivered from Jupiter Bach’s new expanded factory in China.
“ Jupiter Bach is proud to be part of the Siemens Gamesa supply chain and is looking forward to continue to support the Siemens Gamesa Offshore growth globally,” the company stated.
The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in August last year for composites for turbine components such as canopy and spinners.
