The annual Offshore Energy Awards, which will be presented during the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2018 (OEEC) in Amsterdam, are officially open for nominations.
Just like last year, three awards will be presented during the Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner on 22 October at the National Maritime Museum (het Scheepvaartmuseum) in Amsterdam.
The Best Innovation in Offshore Energy Award highlights the best innovation in the entire offshore energy market within the last two years.
The Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of public outreach by a company, organization or project team active in the offshore energy industry, while The Offshore Energy Young Engineer Award will be awarded to a 35-year-old or younger engineer for outstanding achievements in the industry.
The deadline for submitting applications is 29 June 2018.
Last year’s award for Best Innovation in Offshore Energy was given to Next Ocean. Our Oceans Challenge was the winner of the Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award, while Dries Lammens won the Offshore Energy Young Engineer Award.
OEEC 2018, focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from wind to oil & gas and marine energy, will take place on 22, 23 and 24 October in hall 1, 2 and 3 at RAI Amsterdam.
