NDE Offshore has completed the structural and subsea inspections on Siemens HVDC platforms in Germany, owned by TenneT.
NDE said it completed the work on time and within budget.
The inspections on BorWin Beta, HelWin Alpha, HelWin Beta and SylWin Alpha were performed using a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the vessel Edda Fonn.
This spring, the company also completed annual inspections of the helideck substructures on SylWin Alpha, HelWin Alpha, and BorWin Beta for Siemens Transmission. Siemens awarded NDE Offshore with a contract to provide periodic inspections of the helidecks on three offshore platforms in June 2016.
