ELA Container Offshore GmbH has recently delivered three ELA offshore multipurpose rooms on the MPI Enterprise, MPI Offshore’s jack-up currently working on the 336MW Nordsee One offshore wind farm.
MPI Enterprise is currently installing 54 Senvion 6.2M-126 turbines at the 41-square-kilometre site located some 40 kilometres north of Juist Island. The first turbine was installed in early March.
The ELA Offshore Containers are equipped as office containers and will be used during the offshore transportation and installation of turbines on an offshore wind farm.
The containers are expected to be used until July 2017 and are equipped with tables, whiteboards, cabinets, chairs, fire extinguishers and trash cans as requested by the client.
