BPD Zenith has been selected to deliver its Maximo for Offshore Wind asset management solution to the 630MW London Array, the world’s largest operational offshore wind farm.

The system will be used to support the subsequent phases of the wind farm’s lifecycle.

Maximo for Offshore Wind is based on IBM Maximo, an enterprise asset management system, and is designed to meet the specific work, asset management and HSE requirements of offshore wind farms.

The contract, which is for an initial three-year period, will see the system delivered via BPD’s cloud-based delivery model, MaxiCloud.

The London Array wind farm is owned by a consortium of E.ON (30%), DONG Energy (25%), La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (25%), and Masdar (20%).
