Guangdong Jingyin Machinery Co. Ltd. and China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited have signed an agreement to cooperate on the development of offshore wind services through a joint-stock company – Zhejiang Huayun Hai Yang Engineering and Technology Services.
The two companies agreed to collaborate on designing, engineering, developing and operating offshore wind farms.
Back in September 2015, Guangdong Jingyin Machinery ordered 1+1 wind turbine installation vessels at Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard, with the first WTIV expected to be delivered in the first half of 2017, when it will commence a charter with Ming Yang Wind Power.
Guangdong Jingyin Machinery sees the investment in Zheijang Huayun as the company’s further commitment to China’s expanding offshore wind industry.
