German wind farm developer PNE Wind has appointed Per Hornung Pedersen as the company’s interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Pedersen will serve as PNE Wind’s CEO from December 1 to the date of the annual general meeting of the company on May 25, 2016.

Prior to joining PNE Wind, Per Hornung Pedersen, held the roles of a CFO at NEG Micon/Vestas, CEO of Suzlon, CEO of Repower (today Senvion SE) and CEO of Pelamis Wave Power.

The company suspended Pedersen’s Supervisory Board mandate for the duration of his management board function.

“We are delighted to have Mr. Per Hornung Pedersen with his many years of successful management experience gained in the wind energy sector as well as his experiences gained with intercultural management and with company growth and change,” the Chairman of PNE Wind’s Supervisory Board Alexis Fries said.

”As the new Chief Executive Officer of PNE WIND AG, he will fully support the Company in its future development. This also provides the Supervisory Board with time to decide on a long-term solution for the future composition of the Management Board.”
