Energinet.dk has installed the last piece of the land cable which will connect the future Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm to the national grid.
The 220kV power cable has been installed between Endrup and Blåbjerg. In spring next year, a submarine cable will be connected with the land cable in Blåbjerg and the cable in Endrup will be linked to a new substation.
Energinet.dk will also install a large transformer platform at sea in 2016, thus the offshore wind farm’s transmission link is scheduled to be ready by the end of 2016.
