James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS), part of James Fisher and Sons plc, announces the signing of a strategic agreement with Balfour Beatty to become the exclusive integrated marine service provider for its OFTO asset portfolio in offshore wind farms around the UK.

The agreement will see James Fisher provide a fully managed service for the supply marine access solutions, support infrastructure and operation and maintenance services for OFTO assets.

Under the scope of the agreement James Fisher will employ its specialist capabilities, resources and expertise to assist Balfour Beatty in the completion of scheduled and non-scheduled operations and maintenance works.

The first activities under this agreement have been successfully implemented including the provision of a dedicated access vessel, safety management system development, and provision of dedicated facilities in the Port of Mostyn to support the safe mobilisation and transfer of Balfour Beatty technicians to the Gwynt y Mor substations.
