Energinet.dk has located the problem at Anholt offshore wind farm’s connection to the grid.

Namely, the fault was pinpointed four miles from Grenaa. The Danish grid operator said it is now preparing to repair the cable by cutting out the damaged section and connecting a new cable section with two sleeves.

However, the cause of the problem which kept Dong’s wind farm offline since Tuesday morning is yet not clear.

Energinet.dk expects the cable to be fixed by Monday (6. October), thus putting Anholt wind farm back online.
