BMT Reliability Consultants (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has appointed Dan Oakley as Sales Director.
Holding a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Fluid Power Systems, Oakley has over 20 years’ experience specialising in systems engineering, primarily in the defence and aerospace domain. Previously employed as Business Manager for a global defence prime contractor, he was responsible for identifying, pursuing, negotiating, and winning a number of key strategic contracts for complex projects on overseas submarine programmes.
BMT Reliability Consultants delivers decision support solutions to the defence, maritime and transport industries. Oakley’s new role at BMT will see him take responsibility for developing customer relationships and supporting the company’s continuing expansion and development.
