Euskalforging has won a contract to supply 48 Ø 5.000mm MP flanges for the Dutch Westermeerwind offshore wind park.
Euskalforging confirms its technical leadership as the flanges are manufactured in a particular steel grade that incorporates a specific chemical analysis that facilitates the weldability together with higher mechanical properties. Detailed information at that stage is kept as confidential.
This is the second milestone this year for Euskalforging Group following the contract for 450 flanges for Gemini wind park joint flange monopile foundations.
