DONG Energy Wind Power A/S has announced a qualification system for the construction of offshore wind farms in Germany and construction and operation of support facilities to the wind farms.
The construction and operation of support facilities incorporates the Operation and Maintenance Site and Commissioning (including but not limited to logistics, site provision, facility construction and management) and Support & Advisory (including but not limited to communication services, legal services, management consultancy services, consultancy assistance and surveys with respect to environmental issues and any licenses).
Construction of offshore wind farms involves the following projects: DONG Energy Borkum Riffgrund I GmbH, DONG Energy Borkum Riffgrund II GmbH, DONG Energy Borkum Riffgrund West I GmbH, PNE Gode Wind I GmbH, PNE Gode Wind II GmbH, and PNE Gode Wind III GmbH.
Criterion for the awarding of contracts is pre-qualification in compliance with the qualification system from Connexio. On the basis of this pre-qualification, suitable suppliers can be identified and after additional qualifications have been checked, are requested to submit a tender. In order for pre-qualified bidders to be eligible to continue to stage two of the qualification system, potential bidders must complete the pre-qualification (Stage 1) via Connexio .
