Conversulting Ltd will be providing the new ‘Managing Safely for Offshore Renewables’ training course now that it has received a licence by the UK’s Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
This comes in addition to receiving the Renewables Training Network official approval as a training provider (the body set up by the industry trade association RenewableUK), and achieving preferred supplier status with the Career Transition Partnership (providers of resettlement and training opportunities for armed forces personnel).
Based on the IOSH Managing Safely platform that provides an internationally recognised health & safety qualification, this tailored course provides managers and supervisors with essential tools for competently and safely leading teams operating in the offshore wind and marine energy sector. Commissioned by the Crown Estate, the course material has been drawn from long standing experience in onshore and offshore renewables projects and in consultation with the industry. It is relevant for those working at all stages of a project from development, through operations and maintenance to decommissioning.
