Jørgen Jorde is appointed as Managing Director of Anchor Contracting AS. Jørgen Jorde has served as project manager and technical director of Anchor Contracting since he entered Inocean as responsible for SURF & Renewable in beginning of 2012, a position he will continue holding.

Jorde has more than 20 years of experience in the industry in positions within management, design and engineering. His experience covers the market for SURF, FPSOs, drill ships and floating wind turbines, to mention some.

Jorde`s career has included work for Inocean, Sway, NorWind, LMG Marin and the Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization where he was heavily involved in the Norwegian Navy Frigate project (Fridtjof Nansen class).

Anchor Contracting is 100% owned by Inocean and delivers subsea equipment for floating platforms. MWAs are the main product of the company, in addition to proprietary anchor solutions. In recent years, it has delivered MWAs to installations in Brazil, Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Far East and West Coast of Africa.

This change underlines Inocean’s strong faith in the SURF segment – and signals a continued and enhanced focus on bringing Anchor Contracting’s products to the market.
