Today, the full size transition piece mock-up for West of Duddon Sands Offshore Wind Farm was successfully upended at Bladt facilities in Aalborg, Denmark, and on Wednesday, the transition piece mock-up for Borkum Riffgrund 01 project will be upended – also in Aalborg.
Bladt Industries’ scope of delivery on the two projects is to manufacture 108 monopiles and transition pieces for West of Duddon Sands and 93 monopiles and transition pieces for the Borkum Riffgrund 01 offshore wind farm, respectively.
Both projects are a part of the framework agreement signed by Dong Energy and Bladt Industries last year.
