The Conbit team delivered major tools to the new jack up vessel of Seajacks. Conbit supplied monopile handling tools for the Meerwind installation campaign, which the British wind farm installation specialist will execute with the new vessel “Zaratan”.
Seajacks awarded Conbit to supply seafastening and deck transport equipment for monopiles. Conbit proposed a saddle construction using slings to tie down the monopile with a tensioning system. Unique is the possibility to monitor the Seafastening load during the entire transit. The Conbit engineers designed a combination of cradles and SPMT’s to move the monopiles over the main deck and to lift the monopiles from their grillages.
