VisSim has supplied a comprehensive VTMS solution to manage Vessel Traffic Management, Personnel Tracking and Communications at Sheringham Shoal wind farm.
To control the operation of the Sheringham Shoal wind farm, VisSim has supplied a comprehensive solution for surveillance, control and management of vessel traffic and personnel in the wind farm.
Haakon Magnus, the Crown Prince of Norway will do the honour of opening the wind farm. Scrira Offshore Energy is a joint venture between Norwegian energy giants Statoil and Statkraft. The wind farm contains 88 turbines, which could produce enough electricity to power more than 200,000 homes.
VisSim has been the leading supplier of integrated solutions for wind farm management since the first offshore wind farm in 2003. The company currently supplies more than 20 European wind farms with solutions to manage vessels and personnel.
