BlueWaterDanbrit participated at RenewablesUK´s trade exhibition, which was held in London 13-14 June 2012.

“Before the exhibition, we attended A2Seas’s golf event as both players and sponsors, and the event was a great start to the exhibition week. In addition to a good round of golf, we had the possibility of networking with the other participants” , says Jacob Kjærgaard , Business Development Manager in Blue Water Shipping . Jacob Kjærgaard participated together with Søren Stougaard and Peter Aarosin, who represented BlueWaterDanBrit at the golf event.

The exhibition itself stretched over two days with exhibitors from the entire industry.

“Unfortunately the exhibition was held at a strategically bad time, immediately following EWEA in Copenhagen and just before WAB in Bremerhaven on 26-28 June. Because of this, the number of visitors was lower than expected, but on the other hand it left us with better time to talk with people, and it was a very good exhibition” , says Søren Stougaard .

The exhibition was also an opportunity to introduce Robert Ballance, new Business Development Manager at BlueWaterDanBrit, to the different operators within UK offshore wind. Robert is employed as per 1 June at the headquarters of BlueWaterDanBrit in Goole, and is seen here with Søren Stougaard and Jacob Kjærgaard.

“It is an extremely exiting industry, and I am very much looking forward to continuing the work that has already begun in BlueWaterDanBrit. Global Offshore Wind in London has left me with a good impression of the potential within the industry” , says Robert Ballance .
