The three companies have confirmed they will be sharing a stand at the event in March to support the presence of specialist semi-SWATH coastal survey vessel Bibby Tethra.

Bibby Marine Consultancy is a new division of the Bibby Line Group introduced this year, drawing upon Bibby’s extensive maritime history and ship management experience to provide a comprehensive and unique range of technical and specialist services. It is anticipated their expertise will be of particular interest to OI attendees, offering services and advice related to all elements of marine based activity, including dynamic positioning training and consultancy, planned maintenance consultancy, marine accident investigation, and insurance advice and claims support.

Bibby Maritime have worked closely with Osiris Projects since the development and launch of the 27.5m Bibby Tethra, providing financial support for the project in the height of the credit crisis in 2009. Launched in 2011, Bibby Tethra provides an effective platform for the investigation of site conditions in challenging marine environments, and to some extent was designed to deal with the demands of Round 3 offshore wind projects. A number of unique features are offered for a vessel of her size, including Dynamic Positioning (DP1), dual propulsion systems and comfortable air-conditioned accommodation for up to sixteen. The vessel is permanently mobilised, and can accommodate a full geophysical, ROV and geotechnical arrangement up to 150 miles from a safe haven for a maximum duration of 12 days.

Oceanology International is the global forum where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with the marine technology and ocean science community, improving their strategies for measuring, exploiting, protecting and operating in the world’s oceans. The company’s shared stand is positioned close to the vessel demonstration area on stand P600.
