GEO to Hold Course on Offshore Geotechnical Engineering (Denmark)

GEO carries out a 2-day course on offshore geotechnical engineering applicable to offshore structures and foundations.

The course program includes elaborations on the:

  • site and geophysical survey; soil investigation and laboratory testing;
  • design methods of different offshore foundations including conventional and numerical methods.

The course is being held for different international clients and is useful for young as well as experienced engineers and practitioners working in the oil and wind energy projects.

Founded in 1943 as a traditional soil and foundation engineering company, GEO has evolved into a multidisciplinary firm providing clients with offshore and onshore geotechnical services. GEO is owned by the GEO Foundation which entails that all profits are reinvested in the company. Their highly specialised engineers and use of advanced technologies enable them assist their clients in their investigations of either the earth’s surface or the seabed.
