Sea Energy Vessel Finishes Its Work at Arklow Bank Wind Farm (Ireland)

The wind turbine installation vessel Sea Energy leaves Wicklow Bay after completing the work at Airtricity’s Arklow Bank Wind Farm, reports Afloat.

The work was carried out on seven wind turbines.

SEA ENERGY has been providing the offshore wind market with installation and component replacement services since 2002. This vessel is the semi jacked type and has a relatively short pre-loading time making it extremely efficient in performing its operations.

This vessel can operate in water depths of up to 24 m.

The wind turbine installation vessel can operate in water depths of up to 24 m and is capable of carrying between two and three turbines in the 2.3MW to 3.0MW range.
