Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm, the 588MW Beatrice, has started generating power for the first time.
Seaway Heavy Lifting has installed 56 out of the 86 jacket foundations on the Beatrice Offshore wind farm in the Outer Moray Firth, Scotland, Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL), said.
Seaway Heavy Lifting's (SHL) vessel Oleg Strashnov will return to the Beatrice site on 16 November and will continue installing jacket foundations until mid-December, when it will leave the site once again and SHL's vessel Stanislav Yudin will take over.
