In this role you are a member of our project "Hollandse Kust West Beta/Ten Noorden van de Wadden (HKWb/TNW)" technical team, and work closely together with the other project leads in the team in order to realise the entire system integration of the grid connection on time. You are reporting to the Project Lead Technical and you are responsible for:

• (together with the Project Lead Technical) the correct integration of the main systems (OWF connection, Platform, Land Station, Cables, High Voltage equipment, Auxillary equipment) in order to reach the desired functionality of the designed offshore grid connection systems

• areas of work: grid connection, AC transmission technology, cable connections, onshore transformer stations, system integration, SCADA,  testing, commissioning.

• evaluation of design and  construction of all systems and sub-systems belonging to the Grid connection system in order to reach desired functionality.

• Management of interfaces between systems during design and construction.

• verification and validation of the functionality of the grid connection systems via a well-organized test & commissioning process.

• ensuring project documentation and provide evidence on requested functional requirements.

• support the project from tendering of the contract, directing the implementation planning and technical approval planning, verification of engineering documents, procedures and works results

• ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality and HSE guidelines and documentation requirements• Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline

• Several years relevant experience within Systems Engineering, interface management and electrical (offshore) projects

• Extensive experience in the technical field of Electrical and Systems Engineering, Commissioning

• Proven experience in managing contracts with both contractors and engineering companies

• Business-fluent in spoken and written English

Project Hollandse Kust West Beta (HkWb) a establishes a 70 km / 700 megawatt AC cable to grid connection for wind farms in the western part of the Dutch North sea. Project Ten Noorden van den Waddeneilanden (TNW)) a establishes a 120 km / 700 megawatt AC cable to grid connection for wind farms in the northern part of the Dutch North sea. The projects are part of the Dutch government's roadmap aiming for another 7.000 MW offshore wind energy up to 2030. Each project include the realization of an offshore platform, a transformer station on land (coupling point to the main grid) and the installation of two 220kv cables.
