Located approximately 79 kilometres from Lowestoft, the 714MW East Anglia One will consist of up to 102 wind turbines and foundations, each rated at seven megawatts.

This contract will see ODE, part of the DORIS Group, provide specialist client representatives for the construction activities of the East Anglia One. The scope covers all aspects of the construction process, including the installation of piles, jackets, scour protection and cables. Grouting operations and the WTG package works are also included.

ODE will deliver engineering and project management support personnel for a period of up to mid-2020 on site and out of the Project Office in Central London.

“The client representatives that we provide to East Anglia ONE will be the eyes and ears of the installation team,” ODE Regional Director, Jeff Barnes, said.

”They undertake a significant role that will be instrumental in the efficient running and successful delivery of the project. Due to be fully commissioned in 2020, the project will play an important role in UK offshore wind power generation, it is an exciting opportunity and we are proud to be a key part of it.”
