Lamprell is sending partially-assembled jackets to the Harland & Wolff yard in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for final outfittings. Fully assembled jackets are shipped to the Port of Vlissingen, the Netherlands, the project’s marshalling hub.

In total, Lamprell will manufacture and deliver 60 jacket foundations and the accompanying piles for the 102-turbine project developed by Iberdrola and Scottish Power off the UK. The remaining foundations are being built by the Navantia-Windar consortium in Spain.

Located 43km off the Suffolk coast, East Anglia One will comprise Siemens 7MW wind turbines, set to be fully-commissioned in 2020.
