After selecting potential candidates, TenneT will directly start with the call for tender for the filter banks.

The call for tender will result in a framework agreement with one supplier for the delivery and installation of all the needed filter banks.

TenneT expects to make the first call of orders in the second half of 2018. The two-year contract is expected to start in November 2018.

Those interested in participating in the tender have until 24 May to respond to the contract notice.

TenneT was officially designated as the offshore grid operator in the Netherlands in 2016, with the task of developing a high-voltage grid along the North Sea coast with an intended capacity of 3.5GW by 2023.
