The first agreement was signed with Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH for the delivery of client representation and quality surveillance for Vattenfall during pre-assembly & load out, installation and completion of wind turbine generators.

The second agreement was signed with Vattenfall Vindkraft HR 3 and covers marine coordination center services related to the Horns Rev 3 project.

Head Energy’s team will be supported and managed from the company’s office in Esbjerg, Denmark.

”We are truly honored to be awarded these agreements and believe it to be a further acknowledgement of our offshore wind efforts and knowhow. Vattenfall is a prestigious client and we are looking forward to delivering tier one personnel and second to none services,” said Anders Frederiksen, General Manager of Head Energy Denmark A/S.

Horns Rev 3 will comprise 49 MHI Vestas 8MW turbines, optimised at 8.3MW.

The offshore wind farm will be built between 29 and 44 kilometres west of Houstrup Strand on Jutland’s west coast, in water depths of up to 21 metres.

The wind turbine installation at the Horns Rev 3 site is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2018, with the work set to be carried out by A2SEA’s Sea Installer.
