With a total exposure of 115,617 hours, the fleet of seven Bayards have been active at Walney 1+2, Butendiek, Baltic 2, Femern Belt, Borkum Riffgrund, Gwynt y Môr and the Gode Wind 1.

During this time, the Bayards have worked 41,384 operational hours and made 22,336 landings, and completed a total of 78,050 passenger transfers.

This achievement is a combined effort between the vessels crew in close cooperation with the clients, Fred. Olsen says. A contributing factor to the achievement is participation in the ‘Think first’ safety campaign for risk awareness and observation techniques.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier launched the “Think First. Act Safely” campaign in the fourth quarter of 2014, promoting risk awareness and observation techniques.

The company also owns and operates two jack-up vessels, Brave Tern and Bold Tern, as well as one more crew transfer vessel, Wind Crew 1.
