UK: Korean Company Could Join Siemens in Green Port Hull Revolution

CS Wind Corporation from Seoul could join Siemens in the Green Port Hull revolution, taking into account that the South Korean company’s senior executives have held a number of talks with Hull City Council and Associated British Ports in the past few months.

CS Wind is a wind tower manufacturer which has recently been appointed as a global supplier by Siemens.

As This is Hull and East Riding news site informs, the talks are connected with the proposed redevelopment of Alexandra Dock as the site of a new offshore wind turbine assembly facility, worth GBP 230 million.

The company does not have a manufacturing site in Europe, so the chance to locate close to the Humber in order to take advantage of the new generation of the North Sea offshore wind farms has been highlighted during the meetings.
