Since the initial deployment of the company’s FLiDAR system in 2009, along with the acquisition of FLiDAR NV in September 2015, Axys’ FLiDAR buoys have completed or have underway 20 commercial offshore wind assessment campaigns and 16 offshore met mast validations covering a range of operational, site and met ocean conditions in Europe, North America and Asia. This represents a body of operational experience equivalent to over 200 months at sea, the company said.

Axys currently owns and operates a lease pool of over a dozen FLiDAR buoys worldwide with additional buoys under construction.

“We work with our clients to innovate in areas that will have the most impact on reducing their project risk,” said Terry Tarle, President and CEO of AXYS.

“Features such as dual-LiDAR, triple-redundant power supply and communications, and redundant data storage were all designed to provide unrivaled system reliability and to ensure the success of our customers’ projects.”
