Artificial North Sea Island Plan Moves Ahead

TenneT Netherlands, Energinet.dk and TenneT Germany will sign a trilateral agreement on developing the North Sea Wind Power Hub project during the North Seas Energy Forum in Brussels on 23 March, in the presence of Maroš Šefčovič, European Commissioner for Energy Union.

First Hywind Scotland Towers Head to Norway

The first turbine tower components built for the world’s first floating wind farm, the 30MW Hywind Scotland, have been loaded onto a cargo ship and are en route to the assembly base in Stord, Norway, according to Navacel, the manufacturer of the towers.
