The region remains one of the largest providers of offshore wind energy to the UK, with a further GBP 18 billion to be invested in the industry in the next five years, according to the company.

Speaking about the opening of the new office, Advanced Global Energy’s Managing Director, Ben Leigh said: “We cover nationally and internationally but it is important that we give a regional focus to an integral area in the UK. Having an office in Hull allows us to build and maintain relationships with many of the renewable energy focused companies in the North East.”

“The opening of the office in Hull and the signing of new agreements has led to Advanced Global Energy filling more wind energy roles. We’re seeing an increase in Blade and Turbine Technicians nationally as well as in the North East,” Leigh said.
