The company is among the latest tenants of the OrbisEnergy innovation and incubation centre. The move is expected Rhenus Offshore Logistics to expand its services
to the growing UK east coast offshore renewables sector and to cut costs and time for operations, crew transfers and supply deliveries.

“Our clients were being managed from Germany so we wanted a UK office to build the business and look after current clients and build our client base. We wanted OrbisEnergy because it is at the centre of offshore wind development,” Greg Howlett, UK business development manager at Rhenus Offshore Logistics, said.

Rhenus Offshore Logistics is hoping to replicate its profile as the German market leader for supply runs in the UK and had plans to expand, Howlett said.

The company offers a number of services to the offshore industry, including supply runs, crew transfer, port agency matters, cable handling, buoy handling, waste disposal, etc.

Since its launch in 2014, Rhenus Offshore Logistics has supplied offshore wind farms including Butendiek, Global Tech, Riffgat, Meerwind and others.
