The auditors examined quality, industrial safety and environmental management at company headquarters in Edinburgh and two complete wind farms. The certificates attest that Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd fulfills all the quality, health, safety and environmental protection (QHSE) requirements.

The QHSE department at Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. in Edinburgh has developed the management systems since November 2015 in order to conform to the international occupational health and safety standard (OSHAS 18001: 2007), quality management (ISO 9001: 2015) and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015) standards.

“We are one of the first wind firms to fulfill the requirements of the new versions issued in 2015. This will help us in the expansion of our activities in the United Kingdom,” said Steven King, QHSE manager at Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd.

DNV GL examines the compliance with the standards every nine months.

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. said the company will also comply with the requirements of the new ISO 45001 standard to be published this year.
