Winters previously combined two functions: marketer at Port of Amsterdam and offshore wind programme manager at AYOP. The tasks of the post will include focus on renewables and offshore oil & gas, including decommissioning.

Dorothy Winters said: “The North Sea Canal area has proved its mettle as an offshore wind region over the years. We have a very favourable geographic position, and our businesses have an excellent track record in the complex offshore market.

“This became clear during the recent assembly operations at HCT for the Westermeerwind project on the Ijsselmeer lake, as well as during our support of the installation of the Luchterduinen project. We have everything available: space, infrastructure and expertise.”

The market approach is being rolled out on the basis of the [email protected] programme, with an emphasis on forming a recognisable central input for decision-makers in the market and other relevant parties. Winters will point to the individual and joint competencies of companies in the North Sea Canal that are relevant to achieving smart and cost-effective solutions, AYOP said.
