The vessel was built by Gebroeders Kooiman shipyard in Zwijndrecht, according to HvS Dredging Support’s design.

ZWERVER II features Uptime “Walk-to-Work” passive heave compensated gangway, which enables transfer of crew/technicians to turbines and platforms. The gangway is installed in the centre of the vessel on the same pedestal as the hydraulic offshore crane of 510 Tm with AHC and CT winches, and a maximum reach of 31,9 m.

The extended deck equipment consists of 2 massive anchor handling/towing winches with a pull capacity of 200 and 100 T, 1 HS Marine hydraulic knuckle-boom crane of 370 Tm with a capacity of 10 T @ 20 m on the fore deck, 4 Tugger winches with 15 T pull, 30 T hold capacity.

The vessel has high-spec accommodation for 17 persons standard, and arrangements are made (plug-and-play) to extend this accommodation with 2 x 2-pax HVSDS temporary living quarters to accommodate 21 persons.
