Natural Power Moves French Head Office Closer to Offshore Wind Action

Scotland-headquartered renewable energy consultancy Natural Power is transferring its French head office functions to Nantes to be closer to the offshore wind farm projects in the Pays de la Loire, and to take advantage of the region’s attractiveness which facilitates the recruitment of executives with key skills.

Although it has had a branch office in the Pays de la Loire since 2010, Natural Power France recently decided to regroup its head office from Strasbourg to Nantes.

The decision was partly motivated by Nantes’ high quality lifestyle, which eases recruitment of talented staff, but above all because the offshore wind sector is burgeoning in the region.

Natural Power has already provided input to the Saint-Nazaire wind farm in Loire-Atlantique, as well as those planned for the Île d’Yeu and Noirmoutier in the Vendée.

Apart from Nantes and Strasbourg, Natural Power France has an office in Paris.
