OSBIT Power Settles in OrbisEnergy Centre

OSBIT Power has taken residency in the OrbisEnergy centre in Lowestoft and joined the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR).

The company is keen to further its investment in the southern North Sea offshore market and to develop new connections in the area.

This expansion builds on a highly successful period for OSBIT Power, with a healthy increase in turnover and multiple, significant contracts secured in the past year. The company has been active in the southern North Sea Offshore market since its inception four years ago, building relationships with Siemens, SSE and Scira Offshore.

Sales Manager Chris Jones has said: “We realise that the south-east is an important area for the offshore energy industry, being an established region for offshore gas and wind energy activity and a key area for the emerging offshore decom sector. Establishing a base here is crucial in allowing us to tap into the rich network of fabricators and facilities available; we look forward to undertaking new, exciting projects here and to strengthening relations with the local supply chain. We strongly believe in supporting local UK businesses and are pleased to be extending our reach further south.”

OSBIT Power will be attending EEEGR’s Southern North Sea Conference (4th-5th March), during which Chris Jones is speaking about OSBIT Power’s ‘Walk to Work’ offshore access systems, as part of the Marine Special Interest Group (5th March 10:40am).
