Mainstream Appoints New Finance Director Ahead of Expansion Plans

Mainstream Renewable Power, which has wind and solar farms across four continents and was recently granted permission to build two multi-billion pound offshore wind farms in the UK, has appointed former SIAC CFO Terry Ryan as Finance Director of its global operations.

Ryan will oversee the company’s Finance and Corporate Finance functions as it sets out to expand its operations further into Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Central America.

Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of the SIAC and Glen Dimplex Groups and prior to that he worked as a senior manager for Arthur Andersen in Dublin and London.

In addition to leading the finance function of large groups operating across multiple jurisdictions, Ryan has extensive experience of fund raising, project finance, public private partnerships, acquisitions and joint ventures.
