‘CWind Endurance’ at Work, ‘Ocean Warrior’ Goes to Seawork

CTruk had planned to bring its new 20m SWATH OWSV to Seawork but, owing to CWind Endurance’s current contractual demands, the company will now exhibit its latest CTruk 20T MPC workboat, Ocean Warrior, on berth V25.

Stuart Richardson of Technical Marine Support, who part owns and skippers the vessel, said: “We have been operating the SWATH on a 24-hour contract for the last six weeks and are seriously impressed with her ability to stick safely on to the turbine ladder. This boat has the capabilities of a larger vessel but the manoeuvrability of a smaller one with the Rolls-Royce waterjets. We are also able to maintain cruising speed even when transporting two cable pulling sets, weighing some 4 tonnes.”

Since its delivery in March this year, CTruk’s latest generation 20m SWATH workboat, CWind Endurance, has been working on a contract out of Grimsby for offshore wind solutions provider CWind.

Visitors to Seawork can see CTruk 20T MPC Ocean Warrior on berth V25 and CTruk THOR, the company’s first-in-class 11m Force Protection Craft, on berth V10.
