Denmark DBB Jack-Up Names HSEQ Officer

On 2 January, Jesper B. Rasmussen started as HSEQ Officer at DBB Jack-Up. Jesper is a qualified Master Mariner and has been working within the maritime and offshore sector for more than 20 years and joins the DBB team with strong knowledge of implementing and improving safety offshore.

Recently, Jesper worked as QHSE-manager on the Anholt Offshore Wind farm for MT Hojgaard with the responsibility for the safe load-out of 111 offshore wind foundations.

At DBB, Jesper’s particular focus will be on development and implementation of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 procedures and certification.

“Beside my job at DBB I will continue to work as an consultant for Seahealth. The job through Seahealth has given me a good insight into the industry where I have participated in the preparation of sector guidelines to promote health and safety at sea.” explains Jesper.

Jesper also comes with experience from work as Liberia Flag State Auditor / Inspector which have earned him good knowledge of international maritime regulation, ISM and ISPS code, OHSAS18001 and later MLC 2006. As DPA / CSO, he will also be responsible for ensuring the improvement process in ISM and ISPS in close contact with DBB’s crew to achieved the best possible ownership of the safety culture and working environment in the company.
