Germany: BorWin3 Invites Tenders for Transmission System

German wind farm developer, DC Netz BorWin3 GmbH is inviting tenders for installation of a system for the transmission of electrical energy (about 900 MW) between offshore wind farms in the BorWin clusters and a network connection point on land.

In particular, the transmission power, the losses, the availability and compliance with the Grid Code as requirements for this power transmission system can be defined.

This order may in particular include:

  • Planning;
  • Engineering;
  • Construction;
  • Repair and maintenance over a period of at least 3 years including an option to extend;
  • Deconstruction if required
